Although just having turned 17, Connor Russo has joined the ranks of elite Elvis Tribute Artists. Having won 14 major Elvis Tribute Artist competitions in Canada and the United States, including three at the Tweed Elvis Festival, he now performs in major shows throughout Canada.
Connor is from Toronto, and has loved Elvis from the very beginning. His first words were “Blue Shoes” and as a young boy, he loved Elvis like most boys love super heroes.
He began performing at the age of 4 and won his first competition at 6 at the Collingwood Elvis Festival.
For Connor, there have always been 2 seasons – Elvis season and hockey season – but they now overlap. In addition to performing his Elvis Tribute and playing Canada’s greatest game, he loves to play guitar and drums.
